Continuing our ongoing investment, we have  now commissioned our largest 3 axis CNC vertical machining centre. Our Quaser MV214P has a stroke of 1524 x 700 x 510, and is equipped with the latest Heidenhain TNC640 control.

New Faro inspection arm installed

We have installed our third CMM, a Faro Edge inspection arm, to complement the recent acquisition of our latest 5 axis CNC machine. With a fully integrated laser scanning system, the Faro arm allows us to choose either contact or non contact inspection, as well as enabling us to reverse engineer any physical part.

R-TEK LTD required a UK gauge maker to manufacture and repair gauges for checking automotive interior trim parts. Central Patternmaking have now been delivering gauges to R-TEK LTD since 2009.

Communication is good during the design and manufacturing stages. The gauges are manufactured to our specification and to a very good standard of workmanship. Central will suggest better ways to do things. Most importantly, when the gauge is delivered there has been no remedial work or corrections required. I would recommend Central Patternmaking to another company.
